The modern day countries that make up the region that was historically known as Canaan are primarily Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and parts of Jordan and Syria. Canaan was an ancient Semitic-speaking region in the Near East, encompassing parts of present-day Middle Eastern countries.
A country is a self-governing political entity with defined borders and its own government, while a continent is a large landmass made up of multiple countries. Continents are geographical divisions of the Earth's surface, while countries are political divisions.
There are two continents that make up the Americas: North America and South America.
Europe and Asia
The American continents refer to North America, Central America, and South America. These continents make up the landmass of the Western Hemisphere.

Africa an Europe, the "Middle East" sits on its own tectonic plateThe closest Africa gets to the middle east is Egypt but the closest Europe gets is Turkey...
The Middle East itself is located fully in Asia. However, the Greater Middle East includes the Middleast and North Africa, as well as Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Caucus States of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan may also be included in this region, and Georgia and Azerbaijan are transcontinental countries of Europe and Asia. So you could say the Middle East includes Europe, Asia, and Africa.
The efforts to make peace between Israel and Palestine in particular, but also between Israel and some other countries in the Middle East like Syria.
The Middle East peace process refers to ongoing efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and broader regional conflicts. It involves negotiations between Israel and various Arab states, as well as attempts to address issues such as borders, security, refugees, and the status of Jerusalem. The process has faced numerous obstacles and setbacks over the years, with different parties having varying perspectives on how to achieve a lasting peace agreement.
The Middle Eastis a cluster of countries in the Easter Hemisphere that sits where the three continents of Africa, Europe and Asia "Opinions vary as to what countries make up the modern definition of the Middle East. Historically, Armenia and Azerbaijan have been long associated with the Middle East, but in recent years, some sources now consider them to be more closely aligned with Europe based on their modern economic and political trends. We have moved in that direction, and the same applies for the island country of Cyprus, as it does for Georgia, the former Russian republic. The African country of Egypt is still thought (by some) to be in the Middle East, as well as the northern African countries that border the Mediterranean Sea." -WorldAtlas.comClick on the link at the bottom of page for more information and pictures
Cypus is the only European Union member in the Middle East. All other European Union countries (as could be guessed) are in Europe. Turkey is a Middle Eastern country that has tried to accede to the European Union, but has not had its accession accepted. To read more about that read the Related Question. The European Union is very active politically in the Middle East, often serving as a bloc to negotiate against different Middle Eastern countries and therefore make negotiations more favorable in the Middle East.
If you specifically called the Middle East as the "Middle East", then it is likely that you live in an Anglophone country (otherwise, you might call it le Moyen Orient, or As-Sharaq Al-Awsat, or el Medio Oriente, etc.). If you live in the Middle East, there are strong odds that you live in either Egypt, Turkey, or Iran. The other countries cumulatively make up less than 25% of Middle East population.
The Arabian Peninsula and the Upper Middle East.
All countries in the Middle East have fresh water (otherwise their populations would go thirsty), but as for actual lakes and rivers, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Israel, and Jordan have the largest and best access to water in the Middle East. Many other places make use of desalination or condensators.
This question does not make sense. All continents and countries are aging. They are all becoming older themselves, the countries become older each day they remain sovereign, and the average age keeps climbing.
