kcals is a measure of energy in foods. All food you eat has some measure of energy in it. kcals does not describe the food you eat and the contents (or nutritional value) of the food. It merely tells you how much energy you are getting from it. Therefore, the simple answer to your question is: you are unable to tell.

For example, 2150kcals of white sugar will have minimal (if any) grams of proteins in it. Similarly, 2150kcals of 100% whey protein will have a high proportion of usable protein in it.

By giving a number of kcals, gives no information whatsoever about the makeup of that food, and therefore the amount of protein in it.
