To the best of my recollection, 4 people died as a direct result of the Severn Floods of July 2007. ( I am from the district, I was lucky, my house not affected) A few families are still not back in their homes, still living in caravans in their front gardens.
The Tewkesbury Flood of June 2007 was part of the wettest summer on record in England and Wales. Thirteen people died and hundreds more had to be evacuated.

Many people died during this war. Not so sure of who died but many many people died.
