You should do at least 10 crunches and sit ups everyday to get a six pack.
Getting a visible, defined six pack is mostly a matter of reducing body fat, not developing the abdominal muscles. You can do all the intense abdominal work you want, but until you reduce your body fat to around 10%, you won't see any results since your abs will be covered in fat.
Crunches don't get a six pack. Changing your diet does. Six pack is a product of a low body fat percentage, not the amount of crunches you do. Eat a clean diet with daily calorie deficit, exercise and you'll do fine.
There is no set amount of crunches. It depends how fat you are in the belly. For more information about the correct way to develop six-pack abs, see the page links, further down this page, listed under Related Questions.
You must first do cardio excersices to burn the fat.
once you've done that do as many as you can along with other things to get a good workout.
you cannot get a 4 pack by simply doing crunches!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME!
IM 13 AND HAVE RIPPED ABS, IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME U WONT GET THEM OVER NIGHT.
START BY DOING 100-200 SITUPS A NIGHT FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS.
THEN GO TO 200-300 SITUPS A NIGHT(B4 U GO TO BED)
THEN GO TO 300-400 AND THEN TO 400-500.
ALTHOUGH U DO SITUPS U MUST DO OTHER AB WORKOUTS.
DO V-UPS, LEG LIFTS, BICYCLE WORKOUT(LIFT LEGS ON BACK UP IN AIR AND PEDAL LIKE A BIKE THEN HAVE UR ELBOW TOUCH THE OPPOSITE KNEE THAT U R PEDALING WITH TRY TO GO 5 TIMES FOR 5-7 MIN EACH) AND U MUST STAY IN SHAPE OR U WILL LOSE UR 4-PACK
Sit ups are not the way to a six pack, they mostly work your hip flexors.
You need 3 things to get your six pack.
Strict diet
correct exercise
genetic disposition
Even though im a girl, i know alot about 6 packs because i have a older brother and a cousion that both goes to the gym and is OBSESSED with getting bigger, which has worked, They are always telling me about how there workouts go, what they need to do to get bigger bla bla bla, even though i don't care lol.
Crunches wont get you a six pack in one month!
My brother goes to the gym 5 times in one week (His been going gym for 8months now) it takes time to get bigger, he has a routine where he works out on his arms 2 days a week then 3 days on his stomach and chest.
His serious about getting a six pack before summer and his almost there.
He drinks protein shakes, He has his own diet (eating less junk food is good)
Tuna, Fish, Chicken, Vegtables, Fruit, WATER if very helpful.
Join a gym and stick to it and have a healthy diet will do the trick.
Hope i helped.
For a beginner, it is recommended to do 100 crunches a day to get a six pack in a month. Each day, add twenty more crunches to burn stomach fat quickly.
50
50, spread them out or do them all at once
you have to do at least .300 crunches or planks a day
No. It takes months of full body training to get a six-pack.
are you on crack? 8 months for a 4 pack? you can get a 4 pack in a month. do ab workouts everyother day and make sure you eat protien. for a 4 pack your barely need to watch what you eat. just work out..sit ups crunches push ups etc.
i have an 8-pack. don't say it's not possible because my coach was in the Olympics and she nos wat she is doing. YES IT IS POSSIBLE 2 GET A 6-PACK BY DOING THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen people who haven't done a single crunch in their while life but have a six pack abs. It's all in the diet. Pain of not eating is better than 1000 crunches then eating pasta after.
It is not bad to do crunches every day. This is unless you overdo the crunches to the point of pain.
Depents on your fat ratio. If you have no fat at all they will show after a week (like 50 crunches a day) if you have more fat you will get the abs but they wont show until the fat is gone.
yes it is healthy but dont work out too much or else u will stop growing
you won't get a 6 pack doing situps try doing crunches, start doing about 10 to 20 then move upto 100 or even 1000 when you feel you can do it. you should see a real difference in about 3 or 4 months.
Do a hundred crunches feet up in the air and try to touch your toes with each one. Then do a hundred more with your feet flat on the ground. Then do a hundred with each leg in the air. Then do a hundred reverse crunches which is when you lie on your back with your legs up and lift your butt off the ground. If you do this every day for a week, you should have a six pack.
No, the max pack you can get is a 6 pack. I would reccomend doing 45 sit-ups a day for a month and eating healthy will get you a sic pack really fast.
