This all depends on the engine application in the vehicle. Some manufacturers offer different motors on different models. My bet is that it has either 4 or 6. It is not real hard to tell. Just look carefully for the coil pack that has wires going to each spark plug. In some vehicles like Mitsubishi the plugs are well concealed in the top of the valve cover with cover caps so look carefully.
It is important for the car owner to know the location of all the car parts. The spark plugs of a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo are located on each side the of engine.

Have it checked for codes with a scan tool.
The spark plugs in this car are on the side of the engine. They are seen after the engine cover is removed.
on the sides of the block are 2 square caps with phillps screws those are your spark plugs
They are under the black squares that you see when you pop your hood
your bst bet is to get to them through the front wheel wells.
The spark plugs are under the plastic strip that runs up the middle of the valve cover.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cable and covers, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new plugs, put back the covers and cables, and reconnect the battery.
They require special spark plugs that measures the resistance between the electrode gap. This is transmitted to the ION sensing module (which is under the plastic cosmetic piece on the engine and mounted to the very top of the intake manifold). Using the wrong plugs will cause the engine to missfire/throw a missfire code.
