How many cubic yards will my dump truck hold it is 16x5.5x8
16 yards is standard 20 yards for a 12 wheeler
8 or 9 yards, depending on the company's policies and their location laws.
17 tons
25-28
The number gallons of fuel that a 1995 Chevy Silverado pickup truck holds will vary depending on whether it is long bed or short bed. The short bed hold 26 gallons, while the long beds hold 34 gallons.
I would like to see 20 cubic yards on a tandem. I would hate to pay that overload ticket.
Most will hold 10 cubic yards. Some local codes will force them to run 8 or less because of the weight.
A standard short-bed pickup(6' x 4'6" x 18") will hold approximately 1.5 cubic yards. With a plastic bed liner the same truck will hold approximately 1.333 cubic yards. A full-size truck(8' x 5.33' x 18") will hold about 2.5 cubic yards. You also should account for the wheel wells that protrude into the bed. They can be a small factor to consider if you want to maximize your load without over filling it. Adding to a good answer: Also consider the weight of the contents youll be hauling. 1 cubic yard of topsoil will weigh about 2400 pounds depending on the moisture content. Unless your truck is rated to carry more than 1 ton you may want to consider loading half yards at a time.
FedEx has many locations which will have a pickup for ground. The locations would be the place to go in order to find a pickup truck for the packages.
As many as it was designed to hold. "Super Ten" is a transmission (and one which has largely fallen out of favor, at that), not a vehicle.
i believe a tri axlw will hold about 14 yards of top soil A Tri-Axle will hold up to20 - 25 yards of soil depending on weight. A Tandem will hold about 14 - 17 yards of soil. Tri-axle can hold about 30 yards of mulch. How much it will hold, depends on the size of the box. I can 'legally' load 20 yds of 'pit-run' (gravel) in a 24 foot tandem trailer (in my province).
