It depends what size you want it !
Ready-made vivariums can cost anywhere from £50 to £300 - However, you can quite easily make your own. I have always constructed my own vivariums - usually with a saving of around 40% on shop bought.
I use either ply-wood or chipboard - depending on the size.
It depends what size of vivarium you need. A wooden one will set you back anywhere from £75-£150. As well as the vivarium, you'll need a heat source (and guard against the reptile touching the heating element). You'll also need a suitable thermostat to regulate the temperature of the vivarium. Then - there's suitable substrate, water bowl, branches, hides etc. Depending on the dimensions of the vivarium, expect to pay up to around £300 excluding the cost of the reptile itself.
Around $50 new and it wont be a suitable habitat for long. You should look into a 40gal breeder tank or larger. Also, keep in mind the cost of proper substrate and heating.
At PetsMart, a 10-gallon costs about $12, 20-gallon $30, and you can see many more if you go to petsmart.com or petco.com
