Freon is very expensive if you can even find it. I recommend you have the system converted over to R134a refrigerant. The leak must be repaired before you can recharge the system. So you need to seek professional help to repair the leak and convert the system to R134a.
just the o and the n.
'91 Accord. If you are still using r12, its gonna cost about99 bucks a can. You'll find the ac fittings by the dryer (left front?) Dealers can install a conversion kit to the new freon for about 45 bucks, and the new freon is obviously much cheaper
How much dose it cost to get a timeing belt and a water pump replaced on a 1991 Honda Accord?
A Freon system on a 1993 Honda Accord uses a valve on the A/C hardline where a user can connect a A/C refill can. Following directions on the refill bottle will show how much Freon is needed to pressurize the system.
New remanufactured from Honda around $3,000 installed.
First off it contains no Freon. The refrigrant used is not Freon R12 but is R134a. Freon is extremely expensive but R134a is around $7 per 12 ounce can.
If it is completely empty, it takes 3 12oz cans of freon
You can replace freon depending on how much you need for as little as twenty dollars. It more than likely will require labor which will add at least 75 dollars to this price.
About five zillion pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and one ounce can u believe thet its how much u wiegh!!!
its on a tag under the hood. on a little white sticker "factory AC charge" on the left side.
How much can a Honda Accord EX tow?
None, as it does no contain Freon, it contains R134a refrigerant. If it is low it means you have a leak. It is illegal to add refrigerant without first repairing the leak. Seek professional help.
