if its an emissions 305 (lots of rubber vacuum lines running every where) normally from the mid 70's to early 80's, that is stock and has the 2 barrel carburator, about 125hp. stock, they are horribly gutless motors, but an intake, carb, cam, and exhaust upgrade makes a lot of difference, also 305's are better torque motors than hp motors, since they have a smaller bore than a 350 but the same amount of stroke. so if your going to build one up, focus on torque not h.p. and you'll be happy with the end result!
the 1986 Chevy truck 305 HO produced 180 hp
They made a few versions of it. I would have to know which motor you have.
They actually made several different versions of that motor...
Depends on how the motor is set up.
about 165 hp
Need to know the year.
About 280 horses.
probably 305hp , the 5.0 L engine is 305, if u have the 5.7 L then you are looking at 350hp that is not correct that is the displacement of each motor not the horsepower!!!
305 horsepower
Depends on whether it's a 305 or 350...
If the Buick 305 is really a Chevy 305, then the motor mounts will interchange with a Chevy 350.
170hp at 4400rpm
