The 5.9 Cummins was rated at 195 horsepower stock.
It was rated at 345 hp
Stock an automatic is 195 hp a manual is 215 hp.
The 5.9L six cylinder Cummins Turbo Diesel on the "older" Dodge Ram 2500 TDI has 235 European Horsepower registered, I believe the American rating is slightly different (difference in calculating from KW to HP I believe). The more recent edition of the same engine in the later models (e.g. 2005+) of Dodge Ram 2500 TDI has 325 European Horsepower registered, and a bit more smooth running (Not quite the old power-trucking sound to it). I hope this helps, this is according to my best reckoning, I have a Dodge Ram 2500 TDI, 2001 model myself..
Factory rating was 230 H.P.
275 hp
HO models are 245HP. Standard output models are 235 HP.
