The first generation Maxda MX6 manufactured from 1988 - 1992 in North America with a 2.2L engine runs 110hp to 145hp. The second generation produced from 1991 - 1997 with a 2.0L or 2.5L engine runs about 119hp - 198hp.
The 93 to 97 have 164 hp. The Japanese engine has 200 hp.
I think it has the same engine as the 1990's, so it has 145hp.
110 or 145 horsepower depending on which engine option.
118 hp for the 4 cyl .. 164 hp for the v6
110-200 depending on if you have the FS, or KLZE, Jspec. you can learn more at http://carbonfibrecreate.blogspot.com/
Non-Turbo: 120 HP / 130 lbft torque Turbo: 145 HP / 190 lbft torque
Its about 165 horsepower. The M-Edition is really only more stuff on the inside of the car. The engine is a KL-DE. It runs about 165 horsepower on a good day. If it was equipped with a KL-ZE (JDM engine installed in Japan) it would have around 200 horsepower. Very easy swap if you want to.
manufacturer may claim 5-10bhp gain but i would expect no more than 3-5bhp from a good cia (cold air intake)
