Does heroin come from a plant or is it made in a lab?

Both. It originates as opium from opium poppies, which is then refined using chemicals into morphine. Morphine can then be further refined and condenced with a final result of much more effective heroin.

What does heroin test positive for?

Heroin. Actually, there's seldom much interest in distinguishing which specific opioid drug you took, so heroin, opium itself, and morphine all test as pretty much the same thing.

What is synthetic narcotics?

yesI would say NO. Synthetic drugs are, well, synthesized That is, the final drug is a result of a recipe of chemical reactions to produce a final molecular structure.Opium is not synthesized. It is a powder product extracted from (not synthesized from) a plant (the opium poppy). People were using opium in Asia years before we had much knowledge of chemical processes.Actually, opium is not so much "a drug" as "a drug mixture". Still, all the chemicals therein are made by nature without further synthesis by man. In fact, Opium contains a number of chemicals that have biological effects, but the main two products are morphine and codeine - these are the only two useful naturally occurring opioids. No further synthesis is needed, these chemicals are in their final form.By the way, don't assume that "natural is good" and "synthetic is bad". In fact, many synthetic opioids are more effective and have fewer side effects that their "Natural ancestors".-John Bohn, M.D,. R.Ph.

Is hereoin a stimulant?

This is actually an interesting question. Heroin is morphine/opium. Up to a point it seems stimulative, can make your brain go real fast. Heroin can be very dreamy and fast at the same time. (check out the crazy fast music made back in the day when all the jazz players were on heroin). Also it is an analgesic which when you don't hurt you can be up and moving around more. Technically morphine however is a CNS depressant not a stimulant. Take to much and you go to sleep.

Which is more addictive morphine or roxicodone?

Most likely morphine, as stories of morphine addicts are quite extensive, as well that getting off of morphine holds much more agony. Your body becomes so accustomed that it pains you so much you may need to take morphine for a legitemite reason.
