20wt oil 435ml/cc on each tube 102mm down from tube with springs out fully compressed
Use any name brand 100% synthetic oil SAE 20w40.
It will hold 3.1 quarts of oil when you change the filter and it is completely empty. You should test how much oil is in the vehicle before pouring that much in.

475ml in eack fork and you should use 10 weight oil.
the oil does not have to be specific to motorcycles, as long as it is not for a passenger car that has friction modifying agents that will cause clutch slip. you can use any "heavy duty" oil that's made for diesel trucks. usually they will end in -40 or -50, not -30 (which is standard for cars). anything between 5w-40/50 and 20w-40/50 should be fine, depending on where you live (temperature and viscocity)

When you change the oil on a 2003 GSXR 600, you need 3.0 quarts of oil if you do not change the oil filter. If you change the filter, you need 3.3 quarts of oil.
