I just replaced my trans. filter and fluid after 100, 000 miles. The owner's manual says 8 quarts of fluid, but that was too much - probably closer to 7. Try putting in 6 quarts, then checking the dipstick and adding 1/2 quart at a time. Don't overfill - it is easier to add more fluid, but you will have a hard time getting it out if you put in too much. ~ray

Most likely it is the fuel pressure sending unit. Replace complete unit. Located in the fuel tank.
At the bottom front. Once you remove the plastic front air dam it's easy to access. Keep in mind that it's small.

Take it to a garage it's a big job cost me $300. to get it done have to tear half the motor apart. Idiot GM does it on purpose! Murray
information you can find all says to remove the crossover pipe, but i have found it is much easier to remove the throttle body instead.
