Any attempt at weight losshas to start with controlling what you eat, as the foods we have available today can be so high in calories. If you aren't controlling your intake it's pretty much impossible to exercise any weight away.
And for weight loss by walking your dog - well, that depends on how long you intend to walk it and how fast you intend to walk it. For a single lap around the block you won't lose anything measurable. If you're walking you really should aim for one hour at a brisk pace to get time enough for any meaningful calorie burn.
But again - you've got to start with controlling your diet. Once you're able to do that and get in a decent walk each day you should be seeing some progress. 2-3 pounds/week is doable on a controlled diet.
Not necessarily. To lose weight you must use, or burn, more calories than you take in.
not enough fatty ;)
Walk Walk
Walk every day, then move up with running. Eat healthy like for breakfast just eat speaical kay then veggies. Go old fashion! You probably are able to lose that much weight in a week, but I wouldn't consider trying it. You need to lose weight at a slow and steady pace.
It's is impossible to say because how long you have to walk will depend on how many calories you ingest, how fast you walk, and how much you weight. However, an average person must walk about 5 miles per day every day to burn the equivalent of a pound of fat.
You could walk five miles a day and gain weight. Losing weight depends on eating less calories than you expend. Walk or run if you can run without injury and eat less, means you will loose weight.
you can make them walk with you
Walking a half mile is a great "little boost," but you're not going to lose any weight. Your weight, height, gender, exercise level and caloric intake are huge factors. If you walk a half mile to Dairy Queen...I mean, come on...no weight loss. If you factor in a half a mile a day with proper diet and (additional exercise) you will lose weight....slowly. Good luck.
2 hours per day?
walk and well that's it you at least lose calories
How much weight you can lose in 1 to 2 months if you are 5 ft 5 inches and weight 160 pounds, if you walk and bike every day and eat healthy will depend on the exact amount of time you exercise and how many calories you consume.
Walk as much or as little as you like. Walking is not quite strenuous enough for you to loose weight unless you never walk or you are obese. Eat less, what you do eat - chew well - and drink lots of water. Do physical activity that makes you sweat for 20 minutes at least 3 times a week preferably every day. In a few weeks you will have lost those kilos.
