Women returned to their prewar roles when the war ended, but attitudes had changed towards women's abilities to be equal in the work place for ever. Women earned the respect of enough men who employed workforces to be able to show their equal strengths. The boundaries had been breached by women and they would never have to feel they were unable to compete with men again. Equality legislation took longer to be put in place protecting women's equality in the workplace but was inevitable. after the 2nd World War. Today in 2010 men are still payed more than their equivalent female worker in the UK but it is now only a matter of time before that ridiculous situation is redressed. In doing so men will also be able to enjoy the equality of enjoying the wage of fairly paid partner.

The goals of the women's movement of 19th century sought for equality in laws. Goals of 20th century women's movement seeks equality in workplace opportunity.
There is a clear and dramatic relationship between the Womenâ??s Movement and the advent of more women in the workplace. As the Feminist movement grew it became much more accepted and common for women to leave the home and go out and get a job.
Of course they can. We just had an aquaintance who's daughter just made the Canadian National Womens team for soccer at the age of 17. She is a permanent resident of Mississauga, Ontario Canada.
The statement that best reflects the relationships between the womenâ??s movement and women in the workplace includes the fact that women are now being promoted more. The fact that they are being promoted more often is leading toward a life of better living for them.
