They were pretty fast in their day but not on par with the Dodge hemi and 440, they were probably in the upper pack of muscle cars just not the fastest.
Another dismissive Mopar fanatic. Pontiac is credited for starting the muscle car era. While true that the hemi really put a hurting on most muscle cars, it was not the end all engine. Curious...what was Mopar putting out in the mid to late 70's that was even slightly memorable?
