Hey Jeff==Get a manual on your car from a parts store or MOTORLIT.COM It will help you on the next repair also. Goodluck Joe
It is fairly simple, easier on a manual transmission. If you search for subaru forums, a lot of them have do it yourself write ups, with pictures even!
You take out the cluster and replace the bulbs in the back of the cluster. Very simple job, takes baout 10 mins!
hi.. you should start by looking under your hood and locate somthing that looks like a big black compartment. then observe how that copmartment is closed, (clamped or loacked or bolted). then just open that and change the air filter. its very simple.
Dead simple, DO NOT
1999 Subaru Legacy tail light bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement tail light bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the tail light bulb replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions and illustrations. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).

To replace the clutch cable is pretty simple. First put on your e-brake and jack and secure your car. Next, simply unbolt the clutch cable at both ends and remove. To install is the exact reverse. And that's it! I would suggest going to your nearsest auto parts store and picking up a Chilton's manual for your car, it's invaluable for stuff like this. Hope this helps.
The proud legacy of our ancestors must be passed on no matter how simple or non-fancy it is.
u need one Pliskin and one legacy and then u have to make pliskin find his legacy. It`s actually very simple.
Unfortunately, you have to remove the door panel cover. There are three or four screws and several pop-clips, but it is actually pretty simple. To remove the door panel, you have to disconnect the power connector and the speaker (just clips). Hope that helps
this is fairly simple. first locate the battery. then using key wrenches eithe 10, 11, 12, 13mm, (usually 10mm) to losen the terminals. disconnect the negative terminal first then positive. remove the battery and replace with new battery. reconnect the the terminals starting positive first the the negative. tighten the the terminals with key wrench (tighten enough so that the terminals arnt lose). and your good to go.
Timing belt replacement is not a simple job like replacing a fan belt. It is certainly not a job that you can read about then go do if you have little experience working on a car. I recommend that you purchase a Subaru service manual, like the ones available on eBay for about $10. Take a look at the steps required and judge whether you have the skills and tools for the job.
