During WW1, most supplies were delivered by either land or sea. Air craft were in their early days, and were not yet large enough to be considered for true supply runs like those seen in WW2. For the Allies, supplies would be brought from overseas (America, Canada, India, Australia, Brittan, etc) to the HQ, which was behind the lines. It would then be distributed to its various destinations via early vans, but mainly by horse and cart.

It depended on what side you are on, if you think Germany got what they deserved or not.
Because they didn't feel they had to and because WW1 had lowered there supplies
To provide vital supplies, like food, clothing, weapons, and troops.
Discounting Russian supply lines, the bulk of US supplies landed in Great Britain in WWI...same as it did in WWII.
