It's located in the center of the front floorboard way up in front. If you have carpet there pull it down and there are several bolts the you will need to take off. Once you get them off and pull the plastic case off you will be able to see the heater core. I think there is a strap that holds it on in there just take it off and you should have two hoses coming off the heater core, take them off and hook them up to the new one and finish up.
buy a new car
Drain the water from your 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier cooling system. Remove the water supply hoses from the heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new heater core.

Ruptured heater core.
You cannot fix or repair a heater core you must replace the complete unit with a new one...........
Disconnect them from heater core and with a coupling and 2 hose clamps tie them together
I think they are just called heater hoses.
your heater core is bad
Above the right front passingers feet.
Disconnect the heater lines going into the fire wall from under the hood. Remove the panels from under the dash. At this point you should be able to remove the heater cover and remove the heater core.
all i can tell you is that if you got that model that comes out thru the inside of the car"YOU GOT TO TAKE OFF THE WHOLE DASHBOARD" and the bad heater core come out thru the glove box. but if you got the kind that i had (94 cartier) it came out under the hood,so a tech would have to let you know depending on what size the heater core is.
