Carefully place a jack with a block of wood under the motor, loosen mounts from motor, jack motor up just enough to remove old mounts, replace mounts, lower motor onto new mounts, tighten motor to mounts. Make sure there aren't any hoses, wires, lines, etc. that may tear while lifting the motor.

directions to change the motor mounts?
well, how do you replace the motor mounts on this car?
On my 93 lumina you remove the top engine mounts from the motor, rotate the motor forward(set park brake & put in N)until you can put the bolt back thru the hole in the lower side of mount to hold engine back. On mine you can only do this on driver side
It is not required to support the motor when you remove the upper front mounts. The engine will rock a bit but it will not move substantially. Just remember to reattach the mounts when finished.
