Unless it is listed somewhere online, you basically have to take the set apart to get the model/part number from the panel and then Google search that to get a datasheet.
For instance my Vizio M260MV and the identical E260MV both use the Chi Mei Innolux V260H1-LE2 panel, which is a 1920x1080 TN type panel with a 6P13S white LED edge light system.
Panels are not universal, they must be matched to the controller. There is single and dual channel LVDS, 6 bit vs 8 bit, older uses TTL, they are resolution specific, and voltage specific (3.3, 5, ad 12 volts), Etc.

Yes.
The only people who are concerned with LCD panel instability are the spammers who are promoting LG televisions. However, LCD panel stability is not a concern to the rest of the world and indeed, it should not be a concern. LCD displays have a good history of being stable.
Manufacturers use a variety of LCD panel types in their televisions. The type used will be dependent on the electronics that drive it so a panel chosen by one company may be rejected by another. The important feature of a television is the image rather than the panel used. If the image looks good, is realistic and is pleasing to watch, it's a good television, regardless of the LCD type being used.
The benefit of having an LCD panel display are that they have extremely high picture resolution, are energy efficient and excellent colour reproduction.
Hold in the off and warmer buttons on your air conditioning.. and it will throw up error codes on the LCD panel that shows how much gas you have.
The inverter. The inverter converts DC to AC used to power the back- lighting of the LCD panel. Check with the notebook manufacturer to confirm that it makes sense to first try replacing just the relatively inexpensive inverter board before you replace the more expensive entire LCD panel assembly.
