Mercedes did not provide a dipstick to measure the transmission fluid for these cars.
Their thinking is that this should be checked by the dealer for a more accurate reading. However one can be purchased, but a dust cover is not an intergal part of this measuring tool and it is not designed to stay in the car 100% of the time. There is a small cover and plastic latch specifically designed for this purpose.
You can use any SAE certified automatic transmission fluid in your Mercedes Benz. You can check the transmission fluid with the transmission dipstick.
