A 2003 Ford F-250 column gear shifter can be fixed by simply tightening it again. You can tighten it by turning the adjustment wheel on the lower right side of the steering column.
The cheapest and easiest would probably to install a floor shifter. If you don't want to do that, you would have to almost completely dismantle the steering column.
No.
The shifter has splines that need to be lubed get under the truck and spray the floor shifter mecanism and have someone move the shifter as u spray should free up then lube the linkage
adjust the rod that goes from the switch/key (runs on top of the column) To the switch at the base of the column !! Switch at the base is adjustable !!!
yes its under dash to the left of steering column
Most f250 fuel tanks if single are 24-25 gals

The 2003 Ford f250 did not come with an air cabin filter. There was a dealer install option but very few were ever put in.
Check for a loose ground cable
I do not belive they will. In 1999 when for changed their body style on the F-250 they changed the bolt pattern on the rims.
Remove old column put new column install new column in reverse order, you have 4 mounting bolts, shift linkage some wirings plugs and your dash indicator assy.
