It's the heated rear windscreen fuse, which also turns out to be the fuse for the cigarette lighter, so all 3 won't work if it is the fuse.
It's somewhere in the middle of the fuse line-up and I think it should be a green 30 amp fuse.
It's in the under dash fusebox. there should be a diagram on the fusebox cover labeling which one is for the horn.
you can pull the fuse in the fusebox that controls it or you can find the horn and pull the wire off of it.
Its fuse #11. A 15Amp mini fuse located in the fusebox under the hood on the passenger side.
I was into the Autozone website for 5 minutes before I realized what the question was. where the fuse for the horn is ?? fusebox other possible reasons?? horn defective, wire loose between the fuse and horn OR horn switch in the steering wheel is defective.
In the underhood fusebox. Fuse #9 = 15 amp. If it actually is the fuse that is bad, your horn shouldn't work either - they both are on the same fuse circuit.
where do you find horn fuse on 1993 e250 ford van
Where to find the horn relay fuse for a 93 Lincoln Mark VIII
Located in the engine bay, look for black fusebox next to passenger-side upper front strut tower.
in the fuse box under the hood it will be listed on the fusebox cover to witch slot it falls under.
Usually, the fuse that the horn is on is used for several devices, so you have to read the fusebox layout very carefully to find the correct one. A common failure for horns is the switch on the steering wheel. You will have to partially disassemble the steering wheel to find connector for horn. If it is not in contact with metal ring, horn will not activate.
i have a 96 jetta and i looked at the fuse box and found the horn fuse and it was blown changed the fuse and the horn worksso i would look at the fuse box find your horn fuse and see if its blown change it out with the same amp fuse and push the horn button that might fix your problem
Start by checking the fuse panel for a blown horn fuse in the fusebox. If it is good, move on to the horn button and relay. The easy way to see if these are working properly, turn the key to "on." There is a horn relay, probably in the fuse box. Push the horn button and listen to the relay for a "clicking" sound. If there is a clicking sound when you push the button, these two should be ok. This should narrow the problem down to the horn itself. I have owned two dodge vehicles and have had to replace a horn on each of them and this was how I determined that it was the horn and not other circuitry.
