It matters by the company, style, and the way it is. It matters by the company, style, and the way it is.
There are two types of brake systems on that year Chevy celebrity. Light duty and Heavy duty. the easiest way to tell them apart is the type of brake pads. The heavy duty brakes have a "butterfly" style retaining clip out the outboard pad that looks like wings when its not intalled. The light duty brakes have an outside pad that has tabs that must be tighened onto the caliper.
They are the standard GM style side post style. www.trailvoy.com Trailblazer enthusiasts forum!
Hydraulic.
That was LATE 1999 when Chevy changed the body style. From 1988 to late 1999 the bodys were the same.
Slightly different front end with european-style headlights on the '88, slightly revised taillights, different dashboard, 3rd brake light on the '88 - that's about it.
15 inch wheels will fit all square body style Chevy trucks and SUV's, 1999 1/2 tahoes started the round body style and require at least a 16 inch wheel due to the larger brake set up. The same goes for all 1999 and newer pick-up's.
2001 and up have the option of 3rd row, but for the older body style 99 and below you can buy a 3rd row from a suburban and get a kit off eBay to install it, as i have done in my 99 Tahoe. They even sell the seatbelts and brakets to install it.
It uses a Bayonet style fixing.
No. The body style changed in 1988.
