I have the same problem. The old stereo comes out in a snap, and I wired the "harness kit" following the instructions but got no sound. I then removed ALL the speaker connections from the "kit" and started connecting one by one. I got sound through all the speakers but with the volume 75% at max, the sound was weak. Also, I could not connect the Left Front negative wires together or the sound would cut out. May end up going to Best Buy to install. Good luck.
