Hard to open a glove box that doesn't exist. because the mk3 jetta doesn't come with a glove box.

I believe on the '96's you open the glove box and remove the screws on the top edge
Open the glove box and take out all the stuff in it. The relays for the fuel pump, horn and daytime running lights is in the back of the glove compartment.
The hood latch is in the glove box and once you open the box you will see it and just pull it.
Open the glove compartment and look in back, there should be a access door for the fuel pump relay.

There is not a fuse, only a relay box, that consist of like 3 relays. One for running lights, one for bright lights, and the other is for the dim................The box can be found in the back of your glove box on the left, on the back wall. There is a fuse for your lights on the side of your dash, open the drivers door and you will see a panel on the side of your dash, all fused for Blazer is here..........

pull the hood release catch located in the glove compartment just behind the facia.
inside the cab.. open the glove box.. you will see in the very back a cover that says RELAYS pull it.. you will find three switches there.
