Replacing the hub & bearing assembly in a newer truck us considered a pretty easy task in a repair shop. 1)Start off by jacking up the vehicle and removing the tire. 2)Remove the brake caliper which should be attached to the steering knuckle by two bolts. Do not disconnect the hydraulic brake line. Hang caliper out of the way with a bungee or piece of wire. 3)Remove the brake rotor. On a newer vehicle the brake rotor is likely held on by "speednuts" over the wheel studs. Remove these with a pair of sidecutters and discard. They are used on the assembly line and do not need to be replaced. 4)Remove the steering tie rod end to allow for easy and extended movement of the steering knuckle. 5)The Hub assembly is connected to the knuckle by three bolts on the inside. Accessing these bolts on many vehicles will require removal of the front drive axle. 6)Once bolts have been removed the hub should pull out of the knuckle. There will likely be an ABS wire attached to the hub. Be sure to disconnect that wire from the main engine harness prior to removing the hub. Be careful not to damage this wire during removal and installation of the hub. Note: When changing front wheel bearings be sure to change both sides. Bearings fail in pairs. When one goes the other is not far behind. It is also difficult at times to determine which side is making noise when trying to track down a bearing humm. Replace both, don't be cheap on that issue. There is a complete walk through with pictures on how to change the front bearings on a 2003 Ford Explorer on my site: http://conceptxchange.wordpress.com/2011/06/23/changing-the-front-hub-assembly-on-a-2003-ford-explorer/
Ther is no PCV valve on a 06 silverado with a 4.3L engine
A good price for a brand new 06 Chevrolet Silverado is any where between the prices of $7,000 and $12,500, depending on what the buyer needs and other conditions.
it all depends on the body style whether its the same or not
The 06 silverado 4.3 does not have a PCV valve.
how do you replace the heater core in 06 cadillac deville
3/4" or 19mm
You would need a drive shaft from a suburban
If the AC is on, that is normal.
