"the glass has a rubber lace all around it and you have to put a string all around the lace and then set the bottom of the glass in place and you then pull the string all the way around from the inside of the car to get the glass and lace in place."Sorry but that's wrong I'm afraid. The correct way is to install the rubber onto the body first. Make sure the locking part of the rubber is unlocked. Slide the glass into the rubber starting at the bottom and into one of the bottom corners. Spray some kero or ED40 onto the rubber for lubrication. Using a suitable tool like a flat screwdriver or hooktool if you have one, you need to pull the rubber up and over the glass edge one bit at a time until the glass is sitting inside the locked area. Then using your tool again (along with some kerosene or WD40 as a lubricant the locking strip part of the rubber needs to be inserted into the rubber itself. It IS more complex than that because the rubber to body and rubber to glass need to be sealed with a butyl mastic to avoid leakage and there are moldings that need to be clipped on too. If you haven't done it before, get a professional to do it for you. The string method someone described above is NOT suitable for installing the front windscreen on this model Charger.
