Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States, he was the longest serving president, elected for up to a four terms but only serving for 12 years, and had won a landslide victory the likes of which have never been seen in American history, he had won 44 states as a Democrat.

in other words... it was huge! Rosservelt had won 44 states, and President Hoover only 6 states!

there are many reasons as to why his victory was huge, but perhaps the biggest reason is that because, Hoover was so bad. Hoover did so little to help the Wall Street Crash, the people needed someone who was not just going to sit and do nothing.

the only solution to this problem is to get a new president, and the only one that was running at the time was Rosservelt.
