Xenophobia is a problem in all nations, however it was not the reason or cause for the United States to be at war with Japan or Germany. Japan surprise attacked the United States, the British Commonwealth & the (Free) Dutch prior to any Declaration of War. Then four days later, Germany (Adolf Hitler) declared war on the United States. This war was started by Germany, Japan & Italy. Ironically, it is in Japan & Germany where Xenophobia has the greatest influence on those nation's leaders & population.
