An engine needs 3 things to operate, fuel, air ( compression ), and spark ( correctly timed ). Go about this methodically check for spark at the plugs, if yes then check timing, then look for fuel at the fuel rail and then whether it is getting into the engine, is it getting air? are there vacuum leaks? check compression, is the cat plugged? air needs to get out as much as it needs to get in.
If you spray a little fuel into the intake does it start? that is an easy way to tell if it is a fuel problem whether it is a sensor or injector not firing if it is fuel injected or plugged fuel filter, is the new fuel pump coming on? these are all things that need to be looked at.
It looks like you replaced some parts pertaining to both fuel and spark, eliminate one at a time, pull the fuel rail if you have to and watch the injectors fire if it is injected or check a plug for wetness if it is carbureted ( or look down the throttle body for fuel spray before moving on to the next idea.
Once you have completely eliminated one factor it has to be one of the remaining 2.
Think about what happened when it was last running for clues, what were the circumstances that made it quit?
check fuel pump relay!!
The fuel pump relay on that 92 Blazer with the 4.3 engine is located under the hood, on the firewall, drivers side, if there is more than one relay there, it's the one closest to the drivers fender.
There is a relay under the steering wheel
I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MINE AND IM THINKING IT IS A BAD FEUL PUMP RELAY.
The problem lies in the starter solenoid/relay system and sounds like the relay is faulty or a wire is disconnected. Follow the positive cable (usually red) from the battery - the other end should be connected to the solenoid/starter.
If the fuel system is still holding pressure the car will start and run until the fuel runs out, The relay turns on the fuel pump.
Most commonly, when you get a single click when attempting to start the engine, the starter solenoid or relay is faulty.
that doesn't sound like the fuel pump relay...sounds like the fuel filter. look on the cross member immediately in front of the fuel tank
Since you changed your battery and starter I'm assuming you are getting fuel and spark is your problem. You should check your starter relay, the wires from the relay to your starter, the wires from your battery to the relay, the wires from your locking cylinder to the relay, and your locking cylinder. You might also check your alternator. You can take it to a parts store to have it bench tested for free.
no fuel means check fuel pump for operation.also make sure fuel filter is not full of gunk
I have a 2004 ford f150 heritage supercab i changed the fuel pump because it did't have any power and still no power all fuse are good and relay
Might be the sensor, each fan has its own relay
