For any two-stroke engine with an oil injection pump, simply disconect the pump, block the lines in and out and pre-mix your injecter oil with your gas in the correct ratio for your engine before filling your tank with it Do not forget to drain the staight gas out first or you will have NO lubrication for the internal parts of the motor..and Please Remember to DO NOT be STUPID and disconnect your oil injecter without allowing your engine to be lubricated OR you WILL blow your engine!!Believe me , I know many friends over the years that did exactly that SAME MISTAKE!!On any off-road two-stroke, pre-mixing stops the problem of oil injectors stopping due to ROUGH treatment. On a street bike like an RD 400, the injectors work Just Fine. I know since I had 4 of them over the years. Good Luck!
