I had a similar problem 2 years ago with my '89 MKIII. It turned out to be the Air Mass Meter, couldn't be repaired, got a replacement - this worked fine.
I remember, I also got some diagnostic code pointing to the AMM.
If they are square, YES!. If they are round, NO!. In 1989, Toyota did a mid year crossmember/engine mount change. The square ones will fit '86 to '89. The round ones will fit '89 to '92.

the knock sensor is located on the driver side of the engine right under the intake it is about 1 in. it is connected so you will have to unplug it and then just screw it off

Computer is set for premium,and it performs much better on premium.I have a supra turbo tried both, went back to premium better mileage and performance.

On the outside both of them are on the molding. On the inside the switch is on the left and looks like a windshield wiper switch.
