This usually refers to the Onboard Diagnostics plug found under the dash for connection of an OBDII Diagnostic Scanner to pinpoint problems after the engine light comes on or after major repairs are completed prior to having a state emissions test to mke sure the repairs are complete.

Behind the glovebox toward the firewall, you will see a set of wires (4-I think) that pug into a plug with two small screws holding it in. This is it, remove the plug and screws and pull straight down.

It's on the gearbox, you need to get under the car to access it. It has a 3pin plug.
No you need a hand held scanner,
I have a 2000 Leganza and it would not shift out of park/gear recently. I discovered it was a bad brake switch with signals the brake lights to activate and the shifter to release. The switch is a small plug-type part and I found a used one on line for about 30 bucks. labor to put it in was about 50. ! rjemay@msn.com I had same problem years ago - there was a recall on the brake light switch - you may be able to get it replaced for free? In case you get stuck though and need to get it home - stick a screw driver into the slot next to your shifter to get it into gear. Get the switch fixed though - your brake lights may not be coming on.
Took me ages to find it too! In a European model it's under the front bottom edge of the glovebox, right in the middle.
The way to change the fluid (at least for a 2000) Daewoo Leganza, you 1. Jack up your car. 2. Locate transmission on drivers side of vehicle. 3. Remove drain plug. Note: Drain Plug can be difficult to find looking straight up at transmission. Drain plug is located directly across from the drivers side drive axle and faces the passenger side tire. 4. Allow to drain. 5. Clean drain plug. 6. Install drain plug. My car used 3 quarts of Dexron III transmission fluid.

There is NO drain plug! To change fluid you have to remove the transmission pan.
