I rocked from drive to reverse when stuck in the snow in a 1997 Toyota Corolla and now when you put the car in reverse or neutral it goes forward. Forward works. How can I fix this?

Try adjusting the linkage at the transmission. There is an arm that sits on a shaft where the shift cable meets the transmission...sounds like you might have jammed it, and it skipped over a couple of click to mess the alignment of the lever up with the letters.
