MY GUESS IS A FAULTY IGNIGION SWITCH.
My 2007 cobalt also has this problem. The chimes and turn signal sounds come out of the speaker in the drivers door. If there is a bad speaker connection, or the speaker no longer works, you won't hear any chimes.
Take the keys out of the ignition.
To remind you that you left the keys in the ignition.
sounds like a blown fuse, check all fuses with a fuse tester replace any fuses that dont light up
Do you mean when the door is opened? I have a similar problem on my 92 Achieva S. I have found that if I put the key back in and jiggle it a couple times, it stops chiming. I figure its just a small problem in the ignition switch. I've had the problem for about 100,000 miles, but just ignore it.
they are two separate fuses. so two separate chimes. look at your fuse box.
All kind of chimes .
The Chimes was created in 1844.
The series represents the chimes of a clock. Every half-hour, it chimes once, every full hour, it chimes according to the hour. The series represents the chimes of a clock.
