Bankruptcy can stay on your credit report for up to 10 years. If you obtain the credit report directly from the credit reporting agency (ie. Equifax, Transunion, Experion) the report will provide you with directions on how to dispute the information.

A bankruptcy can not be wiped off your credit report until after 10 years but if the accounts on your credit report which were discharged in the bankruptcy can these be taken off?

The debts which were wiped out in bankruptcy still stay on your credit report, but they should be listed as "Discharged in bankruptcy." They will still stay on your credit for 7 years (they don't get extended to 10 years like the Chapter 7 just because they were discharged in bankruptcy). Can you get a civil judgment removed from your credit report if it was included and discharged in a bankruptcy even if the judgment date is later than the bankruptcy discharge date?

Yes, you can have a civil judgment removed from your credit report if it was included and discharged in a bankruptcy, even if the judgment date is later than the bankruptcy discharge date. You may need to dispute the judgment with the credit reporting agencies and provide proof of the bankruptcy discharge to have it removed from your report.
