Back off A LITTLE and be patient. Be there for her if she needs you. Just be a friend, for now. If she has any sense she'll realize you would benefit better as something more. You can't obviously force her to like you, so just take it with dignity. The only thing that can really take you a long way is a solid freindship. So just wait, make yourself a real good friend and see what happens. Also remember is being so close to that person can also be emotionally harmful to you then my best advice is just learn when to quit.
