Phone calls aren't always for love like my girlfriend in Germany would call me for love but sometimes I call my mates or they call me he may just want to be friends with her
there is no harm in that but just keep and eye on what they are saying and doing.
Answer:Because he lied. She is not an ex (mistress) she is the current mistress. I completely disagree with the first answer - once they crossed the line from friends, coworkers whatever it started as, and when exposed he claimed to give her up - he lost the privilege of having her friendship and his wive's trust. He can't have it both ways but he is taking it all.
