No.
If your parents were US citizens when you were born- you automatically are a US citizen. The US embassy should have given you documents stating your citizenship during the time you were born. This is what my sister did.
Parents we 're US citizen
Since your dad is a citizen, I think you are too. You will need to prove it since you were born in Mexico.
No. A baby born in the United States is a citizen of the United States no matter where he/she subsequently moves.
Your "race" will always be Human. Your nationality depends on where you were registered, not necessarily where you were born. You will be American with a Mexican family.
if they are not born in canada or if there parents are not citizen
if they are not born in Canada or if there parents are not citizen
Answer#1NO, a baby born in the united states is an American citizen,no matter if their parents are illegals. Mexican government does not consider that child as a Mexican citizen unless the parents do the process to get a double nationality, which means, that infant is American citizen and Mexican citizen. Answer#2The writer of the previous statement should know a bit more of the Mexican Government and constitution, I challenge the truthfulness of this answer and I must add that as Mexican I speak with better knowledge of the law system in Mexico and so I answer that question like this: An Infant born outside the borders of Mexico from one or two Mexican parents is Mexican, An Infant born inside the Land, waters or any properties of Mexico from Mexican parents Is Mexican, an Infant born In Mexico (Land, Waters, or Properties) but not of Mexican Parents Is Mexican. Paz,Justicia,Tierra, y Libertad.
If you mean "American" as in someone born in the Americas, yes. If you mean "American" as in a US citizen, no; they are Mexican, unless one of their parents is American.
Pretty much. Let's say your parents are in the military and you are born overseas you would still be a citizen. If one of your parents was born in another country and the other was a US citizen then you would have dual citizenship and when you are older you can choose which country you want to be a citizen of. If both of your parents are foregin born, but you were born here then you are a citizen. If your parents and you came to the United States from some where else you wouldn't be a citizen.
A person born in the territory of the United States of America or to United States citizen parents would be a natural born citizen of the United States.
