No you will not be arrested. Turn the car in if you are not going to make the payments. Having you car repossessed is a horrible idea, if there is any way you can avoid it. Talk to the lender and see if you can work something out. Remember you will still owe the balance on the difference in what they sell the car for and what is owed. Plus you credit is ruined for 7 years.
Alot of repo guys do drive the repoed vehícles, But be assured If they drive Your reposessed car that Most compañys have a million dollars worth of coverage..to clarify once a car is repossessed it is no longer "your" car.
My assumption is that they are hoping to find someone to open one, looking for an investor.
Are you talkin' about a driver's license in Canada? ...it means you drive without your parents looking over your shoulder when you drive .... or when you "park" with someone!
Yes, the lender is looking for the ability to pay, not the ability to drive.
If someone were looking to ship a car across the United States then there are various options open to them. One is to get it transported in a container. The more popular option is to hire someone to actually drive it across.
Drive it WHERE? They have to drive it to get to their storage lot. If you believe that they are driving it for personal usage, that is a question that isn't covered by criminal or statute law. The appropriateness of it will have to be determined by the lender that financed the car loan.
1. How can you teel if a drive is shared simply by looking at its icon?
It's luck of the draw. Try the Auto Trader website. Police impound auctions and auctions on repossessed vehicles sometimes yield results, but there's never any guarantee they'll have what you're looking for (not to mention that maintenance usually falls off well ahead of time before the vehicles gets hooked in the case of repossessed vehicles).
You have to get a release from the police dept. before you drive the car. It is usually about $15.
drive around and get names of local shops and look them up on-line (looking for a phone number) and call and ask them
