there is a rear brake light switch in back of your brake pedal where it connects to the steering post that is bad. Ford had a re-call on my 2000 ford taruse, change the switch three times before they fixed it. you can unplug the switch after you park,if you can remember to plug it back when you ready to drive. to unplug switch reach down your steering shaft to the back of your brake pedal the switch is connected to the steering shaft in back of the brake pedal. use your flash light to see how to unplug it.real dark under the dash. don't forget to call ford they may fix it no charge. good luck
If the parking lights are on when the car is off its probably a switch issue.
Fuses?
If parking lights and dash lights are not working and fuse blows out, there might be a problem with battery corrosion. Check the components specific to the circuits of the affected lights. It might be loose.
