You can buy a replacement hose at an auto parts store. Or, if your heater core is bad and you are not replacing it, you can disconnect the other hose from the core and reroute it back to the intake to keep the water circulating through the engine.
Possibly some leaves have entered through the fresh air intake.
It has the intake heater.
It might be a wire going to the thermostat housing, or possibly it connects to a sensor screwed into the intake manifold near the thermostat hosusing.
it could becoming from the intake or one of the o-rings from the heater hoses where it connects to the intake .you need to pressurize the system to pinpoint the leak
The Chevy Cavalier does have a fresh air intake filter. The fresh air intake filter is located behind the passenger side kick plate.
No hose connects from the air intake to the radiator. It may connect to a bracket mounted not the radiator but it does not connect to the coolant. If that is what you are stalking about it is called an air intake tube.
The intake heater is the square block between the air horn and the intake manifold.
How do I test the air intake heater relay on a 7.3 desiel
Yes, but the exhaust manifold (due to the flange where it connects to the exhaust pipe is different) and the intake manifold (due to the EGR Valve) will have stay with the car. And it would be a great time to change the water pump, because of the huge pain in the back it is with the engine in the car.
The PCV Valve is located on the top right of the engine, which connects a tube from the intake manifold to the head of the engine. IT IS NOT THE ONE THAT CONNECTS TO YOUR INTAKE!!! ..
check your heater hoses one connects to the intake on rear passanger side of the motor it is likely the intake cracked there is a recall on this issue if the intake has been replaced with factory intake it is possible that the intake gasket is leaking check the bolts to be tourqed to specs if gasket is leaking replace gasket Crown Victoria Plastic Intake Manifold Heater Leak Fix When the stupidly designed intake manifold cracks where the heater pipe sticks into the plastic here's how to fix it. You will notice the plastic around the heater pipe is connected to some plastic to the front of the car from it. Take a hacksaw blade and cut about a 1/2" groove in that plastic - just enough to get a hose clamp around the plastic circle that holds the pipe. Tighten the clamp and voila! No more leak.
Are you talking about the aluminum tube that goes from the heater core to the intake? If so, you need to pinch both sides of the plastic retainer, and pull out. Dealer item only.
