I had this problem recently with an Envoy. There is a pin that connects the transmission to the shift mechanism. You may have popped this off. Some tow truck drivers know how to do this in order to move a vehicle that is locked without hurting the engine.
my automatic transmission is stuck in neutral. how do you get it into gear
There could be a couple of reasons why a Nissan vehicle could be stuck in park. The shifter could be stuck or broken. The transmission may also be out or in need of fluid.
Unstuck is one possibility.
were are you stuck at?
If the pathfinder is a model with a park lock, then pump the brakes and listen for the shift solenoid to click. The solenoid is under the plastic cover around the shifter, and has probably gone bad.
The blower on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder won't turn off if the switch is stuck in the on position or the relay is defective. Removing the blower fuse will cause the fan to turn off.
If the vehicle is stuck in a gear then the shift censor is out. The other reason could be that the linkage on the transmission is broken.
Pour warm water over it!
When you have an app that is stuck loading on a tablet or cell phone, you need to turn the device off and back on to get it unstuck.
Remove your front axles.
Same seat belt got stuck on my 1998 Pathfinder. The plastic cover that starts at the take up slot and goes all the way to the floor can be popped out to gain access to the seat belt take up. In my case, I didn't have to go all the way to the floor. After popping the top of the piece at the take up slot the belt suddenly became unstuck and began to work OK. I never got to see how it was stuck, but I believe that the seat belt had folded over and twisted around behind the plastic piece. To pop the piece open, I used the wooden handle of a small cleaning brush. I felt that a screw driver would break the plastic piece. Hope this helps with your stuck belt.
change the batteries. it will work.
