If there were a 2 year contract with alltel and it sold out to Verizon but Verizon no longer carries the same plan could the service be disconnected without breaching contract?

Apple is not signing a contract with Verizon Wireless. However, Verizon Wireless has signed a contract with Google and now carries two Droid phones. Which does all the things the Iphone does plus some! Check them out!!
