It is the charro or mariachi costume for men; the huipil dress for women. You should note however, that these outfits are just for representation and festivity purposes; in the case of the mariachi dress, it is mostly worn by professional mariachi bands. Most people in Mexico wear the same clothing Americans and Europeans do, with some exceptions (for instance, very few people wear shorts and sandals on the street, unless jogging or going to the gym).
i would try morticia from the Addams family I'm going to be morticia this year
Irish people don't have to dress up for Christmas. If they are going to a party they will put on very good clothes, suitable for the occasion. So the women may be wearing dresses and men may be wearing suits. If there are themed parties, some may dress up in costumes. If they are going to religious services, they may dress up well, but some may just dress like they do for more ordinary times at religious services. At home they again may dress a bit better or may not. Children may dress up for Nativity plays or if they have got a costume or new clothes for Christmas.Irish people don't have to dress up for Christmas. Maybe, if your going to a Halloween party or something, yes and it depends on how old you are...13 and under, yes. If you are going out for a fancy dinner, no and 15+...no.
Yes, You need to dress up to be scary like Vampires, Ghosts. And even more!!! Because, if you just walk up to a house with no costume on, no one is going to give you candy.
Should they? I'm wondering who's going to spend the time and money putting a costume on a school and then taking it off the day after.
If you are going to see a show, some people like to dress up, but some people dress casual. Its up to you really. (: Rosalie
Making your own disco costume is fun, easy and very inexpensive. Going to a thrift store and buying an old suit or dress will cost you little and by adding some retro type sunglasses and accessories will give it that extra touch.
The thrift stores are always a great place to start before going anywhere else. If nothing is found there then you should find a white dress at almost any clothing store.
