Just drain all the coolant out of the radiator. Then flush the entire cooling system with water. Make sure the heater temperature control is set to hot. After you flush the system, install fresh coolant. Use the proper antifreeze, in a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water. This would be a good time to replace the thermostat on a 14 year old car.
