You are absolutely kerrect. They cant get blood out of a tur-nip or a cat-nip... * Wage garnishment is not the only option that a creditor has to enforce a judgment. In the majority of states judgments can be executed against bank accounts, all non exempt property belonging to the debtor (in most cases, even that which is jointly held) and liens against real property. Property that is not protected by the state's exemption laws can be seized and sold by the judgment creditor to repay the debt owed. Social Security and pension benefits are not subject to creditor attachment, but the majority of states do allow unemployment benefits to be garnished.

The company wants their money so if the primary doesnt pay then the cosigner must. Their is no way of getting around this. Bankruptcy should be outlawed. If you cant afford things dont take on the debt.

Garnishment will not stop if you leave the state. A garnishment is obtained from a judgment or default judgment against you in court. You have the option to go to court, and file for modification of the debt or file bankruptcy unless the debt is listed under special circumstances.

NO!
You dont HAVE to pay anything. You may not get credit in the future because you dont pay. It will be on your CR usually for 7 years. Depending on where you live, if the lender gets a judgement, they could garnishee your wages.
dont pay the payments ever
NAKEI, I dont KNOW the answer but I dont see why they would. How would repoing your car give you any income for the IRS to tax?? Is a collector/repo person threatening you?No, the IRS will not take your taxes, on a repossessed vehicle or other property. However, the lender does have various legal options to get money owed them by an individual. This includes the ability to file a claim with the courts to garnish your wages and even your tax refunds. You should check the laws in your state regarding "garnishment" because not all state allow for wage garnishment and that may also affect where your tax refunds can be garnished.
They can report the account as deliquent to the credit agencies. They can also sue you. With a judgment, they can put a lien on your house and garnish your wages.
